Hello Riot Team,

I am a die-hard DIANA (Scorn the Moon) fan..... and although you “just” recently launched the patch 5.3 (which btw I still haven’t been able to download and play...) where Diana’s Pale Cascades rotation rate has increase, her ability damage is in desperate need of T.L.C.. I do believe that Diana has the potential to be an opponent that shouldn’t be underestimated.. but it is truly disappointing how nerfed she is.. If I may give a suggestion or two on how she could be less of a liability as a laner (top or mid) and ultimately to her team earlier (or throughout) in the game (since she doesn’t obtain her Ult until level 6). It would be that she could have a neat "passive ability" added to one of her abilities such as “Moonfall”, like a DOT. I also believe that “Lunar Rush” could have an increased range (Just a bit more than 825) or a refresh feature if she is able to kill enemy do to “Lunar Rush”. Considering how other characters (like her archenemy Leona) have a flashy visual ultimate, I was thinking she could use one as well. Yes her “Lunar Rush” has an animation that quickly teleports her to her enemy but i was thinking one that would honor her whole persona as the "scorn of the moon". One thing that makes me go bonkers is whenever I execute Diana’s “Lunar Rush”, she can be hit by any attack as she is teleporting ultimately killing her easily... now i know that if i am low health it is inevitable to die but maybe she could somehow dodge attacks as she is teleporting or be immune to attacks. Maybe her “Pale Cascade could have an increase on its damage absorption (or a running/ attack speed increase). Aside from those suggestions i do firmly believe that although Diana is a melee character, her ability damage is insignificantly low.

P.s. It would be awesome if one of you guys from the riot team would give a small feedback to this suggestive post.

i said it once, i don't like her Q mana cost and cooldown and its kinda hard to get a Q on champs. you end up going oom too fast in lane and maybe in jungle.

first things first: reduce the cooldown of her Q to 6 seconds all levels. just like nidalee

second: if she AA's an enemy Q marked champion or minion or a monster she gains mana, that amout of mana doubles when she AA's with her passive.

third: her Ultimate refunds half of the ultimate mana cost when Diana dashes into a Q marked champion.

i very much like dianna but when you look at her numbers compared to others it starts to look like she could use abit of a buff especially compared to other ap assassins such a kat, compare their ults in damage capability, kat does dmg teleing to her target them MORE with her ult, diannas ult is to tele while doing dmg , just feels like a fall off in comparison in my opinion, diannas ult shouldnt actually do more damage, it should have a growth by level passive that allows her ult to penetrate more, say 1 pen per lvl gives her ult an extra 6 mag pen upon gain +1 per level or give her the first ap crit chance, but instead of norm crits the crit is mag pen, X% chance of +X% mag pen , she is an assassin and her numbers are a little low compared to other ap assassins but buffing those number might break things, idk about mag pen though, thats just my suggestion

Diana's not really been 'nerfed', nor 'buffed' in any sense. She's got a great kit (I love playing her mid lane, AND jungle) and overall, her numbers are VERY balanced and respectable. I agree on the fact of maybe giving more flare to the ultimate, but as far as everything else? Noooo, she doesn't need any buffs. She has strong lane, strong movement, strong sustain and survivability, and great lane clear. She's an excellent mid laner -- if you know how to play her, and she can abuse some champions top lane with her kit.

Gotta remember, a great deal of her damage comes from her passive intertwining with her other abilities. Stack two autos, land a Q on a champion, dive in, nuke health, and followup with a second R if needed with ignite to execute. I think if we were to give her anymore damage, she'd be broken, and we'd end up having her nerfed into oblivion (just like Elise, for example).

So you didn't get to play her at launch either? It sounded like a lot of fun

And I was feeling the same way after a while. I recently started incorporating the Lich bane and Botrk into my build and timing my skills to make use of the LB proc. No problems for me anymore

in Aram she is a force to not take lightly, as in the current days of aram, its all squishy high damage champs ending up on the bridge, Diana's playground. Her ability to chain her ult and hold targets in place makes here an awesome team fighter.

HOWEVER on SR, she needs those early push to get to that level, going mid against a ranged is gunna set you back a lot. You really need that early snowball to run her throught the roof. That being said, I do feel the mana issue needs to be put into perspective. She cannot outplay current mages regen so the refund on R for half mana from q'd targets is nice.

The thing I would love to see is a cooldown buff when you hit the Q R combo, say 2 seconds.

Damagewise I would say she is very fine right now. enevitably i find myself maxing her shield first for that duel potential and damage that really comes in handy.

Her ult should not have an increased range though, but i would love to see if it could deal some damage to targets between Diana and the target, but not full damage, maybe 25% of the damage, as LUNAR RUSH is just a blink, a rush is breaking through everything in your path as fast as you can,
