Riot Giving Out RP?

I've read a couple of articles indicating that Riot will in fact give your account a small amount of RP to complete a purchase when down by a little RP. All you have to do in exchange is send a drawing of your favourite character.

Is this all true? Can you simply ask Riot for 50 RP? I am missing a little RP and have drawn pictures already, so this sounds kinda cool. Thanks,

I am pretty sure its not like a thing you can do constantly but if you make something that is really good. They can do it. I had a friend that did such with a picture of Ahri and they gave her rp, not sure how much but enough to buy Yasuo.

IIRC they have an upper limit around 5 RP and they won't do it multiple times for the same account.

50RP is definitely out of the normal range.
