Undeserved Reports

So I was playing a casual game as Nasus. I'm versus an Olaf who gets a kill early on me. This Olaf starts insulting me and says that he is so deep inside me, and that he can f"ck me whenever he wants cause I'm his b"tch. I respond saying " I'm going to report you for being toxic" Then he and his mid laner start calling me a pussy cause I want to report him after he insulted and verbally abused me. They gank me together and say " Hahaah rekt you little 12 year old", CONSTANTLY. They both agree to report me and at the end of that game I get report by both of them for verbal abuse cause apparently I was a pussy. I received a message from Riot saying to have a better attitude since negative attitudes ruin games.

I admit, a year ago I was a terrible and toxic player, but I got banned and have changed after that. I always ignore toxic players, but this always happens to me. I always get reports for Negative Attitude simply because I point out toxic behaviour, ALWAYS get reports. This really bothers me as I may get banned for absolutely nothing. I may slip a word here and there but nothing terrible, I'm more focused on helping the team with constructive plans. So what do I do? Do I stay silent and let them flame me whenever they want ? When I mute them they tell their teammates to send me messages. League Of Legends has become a toxic waste plant filled with trolls who report you for nothing. If I get banned for this it's absolute nonsense.

If you do nothing wrong, you won't get banned. Simple as that. False reports will not turn into punishments. The alert you got is based on reports alone, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you're close to a ban. If you actually did something to deserve it, then take that alert as a warning. If you didn't do anything, then you have nothing to worry about.

The system first is triggered by reports. After enough reports, then it looks for proof. If there's nothing for the system to go off of, it sees those as false reports and you're fine.

I hate people like you just encountered just as much as you do; They ruin the game in total on occasions. I suggest, should this happen again, simply don't acknowledge the fact that you're going to report someone, if the guy gets annoying; Mute him anyways, If the guy gets his teammates to do the same, Well screw them for joining in! Mute those guys as well! (And report them if need be). And if the guys who started it move onto getting your teammates to do it? Not only is that dumb, that's just immature. If you do somehow get banned for this, create a support ticket explaining how you do not deserve the ban.

Better solution: Mute and move on. There is ZERO reason you need to have an opposing player un-muted. Saying "I'm gonna report you!" is the equivalent of "I'm gonna tell mom". There's zero reason to tell a player you're going to report them, just do it after the game and be done.
