So why do people think warding is ONLY the supports job. just had a* (Ranked)* game and the chat looked like this in champion select/early game.

Me: Hey they have a panth jungle, we need to keep dragon warded early.

Team: it's the supports job to ward.

Me: Umm, i can't keep dragon warded by myself at level one.

Team: get sightstone.

Me: at level one? ~~sigh~~

Team: Shitty fucking support doesn't ward dragon.

(This whole time corki had not used trinket ward in lane or in river.)

TLDR: everyone should buy wards. (Or at least use the ones they have.)

It's true everyone should buy wards, not only the support! Don't be discouraged when teammates try to put you down. They do it to get a emotional response from it, in which I hope you didn't do. Build however you want as a support, even if your teammates say otherwise. You have the option to mute, or ignore them. If need be, you may report them also.

I remember in S3 people could get away with saying warding is a supports job. Now that you can only have a max of four wards (three stealth wards and one vision ward) that statement is just a mark of a bad player.

I would suggest reminding your team that you can only have so many wards placed at once, and if they refuse to listen and even insult you - then I would suggest muting them and play the rest of the game to the best of your ability. Once the game is over, report them and move on. You'll meet plenty of people like this and it's best not to let it get to you.

I almost universally buy a pink on my first back (if I have the cash after buying my primary item) and try to get a deep ward in the enemy jungle as early as possible. I admit, I'm bad about getting pinks as a support, hilariously :/

But yes. On backs, you should try and get wards and pots. Everyone.

More importantly, against certain champs or team comps, everyone SHOULD carry/place pink wards. I managed to have my team comeback from the edge of defeat by simply dropping a pink ward every time the fed enemy Akali smokescreened. After she was dead, the rest was a mop up job (she basically kill starved her team, so besides her they weren't doing that well).

Everyone needs to ward. Everyone knows this, but many still don't do it. Forever bronze.

I hate when people do that, I which ever lane i go to

Top: I have my pink wards on the first back

mid: 2nd back i have wards(i usually play it safe and farm near turret when i go mid)

Jungle: ALWAYS BUY WARDS

Bot: I always get two pinks because i know the enemy would just kill the first one within 3-5 mins

Also i never understand why people never want to upgrade trinkets, it you're not gonna back and buy wards at least upgrade your fucking trinket so we can can actually know where the enemy is. They refuse to waste 475 (which they can farm back within a minute or so) on a trinket upgrade that makes the wards last longer, cover more ground, and has a lower cooldown. Some players also seem inconsiderate of the support when it comes to wards. as we can ONLY LAY 4 DOWN AT A TIME. SO DON'T BRING THAT BULLSHIT TO ME WHEN I HAVE WARDS ON THE FIELD AND ONE WHOLE SIDE OF THE JUNGLE IS COMPLETELY UNWARDED.
