I'm not an avid reddit fan but ive noticed the community getting pretty riled up about this spectate Faker situation, nothing good will come from this the community will just hate on You guys even more.
Streaming the Spectator is perfectly legal and allowed by Riot. The problem is with multiple people trying to make money off of it, taking away subs from the player being spectated. They have no grounds to sue each other because neither owns the content.
Giving players ownership of their matches is a ridiculous notion, because generally there are 9 other people there.
In short; there is nothing Riot can do about this except to remove the spectator client. This is not a very good trade to appease a few players who are mad that someone is monetizing off their matches.
