I was playing a normal game a couple of days ago and i had to leave due to my boss calling me in early. After coming home from work i logged on to league and i got a notification saying do you agree to not leave anymore games and you had to write i agree, i find this a bit odd because i can't guarentee i'll not leave anymore games. Many events could occur causing you to have to leave please change this.

Yeah it seems silly to have to type that agreement. Life happens, but if someone has a bunch of leaves all right next to one another, that person is probably afk'ing on purpose.

Talk to people before you can play. That's not an excuse for "my friend called me" whilst ruining 4/8 other peoples experience.

You can't 100% never have to leave a game. Life happens and has priority over a game. However, you CAN take steps to not put yourself in a game when interruptions are expected. That said, not ALL interruptions can be anticipated. That's why first-time offenders are not banned. There is a graduating punishment for this exact reason.

Which is why I mentioned it should be changed to something along the lines of acknowledging the consequences. You could have the most legitimate reason ever and leave 1 game and you won't be banned. If you have something that comes up repeatedly over time, its up to you to either recognize a pattern or be punished for failing to do so (assuming there is a pattern). Riot has no way of knowing WHY you left and most people can't be trusted to be honest about it. Thats the reason for the whole generic rule. If you only leave occasionally, you have no reason to worry. But yes, the agreement is poorly worded.

I had people going:

  1. My pizza is here. Bye

  2. My wife is giving birth. Bye

  3. Just types "gtg/g2g"

before disconnecting on purpose. And this is why Riot has trust issues with AFK'ing people.
