Would I get a ban or something if I used a custom skin? I have heard many things saying it is alright to use them and other things say it is not alright to use them. Remember I want a Riot member to answer this because I just want an answer from them because I don't want to get banned, 
or worse if I were to do it.
Riot is shifting towards a "don't use" stance regarding 3rd Party Modifications, including custom skins. At this time, I wouldn't advise using them as you could receive a warning or a suspension.
yea i looked into this a lot , riot says don't use anything that gives unfair advantage , but i have seen many you-tube celebrities, including some that have been on there you tube channels use map skins and skin mods. i giving an upvote as a riot response would help clear up a lot
I mean according to riot, their not "illegal" but their not "legal either", If you wanna be completely safe, the best route is not using one, but I don't know much about it, I did msg them one time about it though
They don't want you to use them because if you use custom skins, that's money they're not getting from skins.
The skins don't give any sort of advantage or disadvantage though. It's not like botting or anything like that so it's not illegal.
If anything it's just a blocker on their financial income. Then again, the community makes some pretty cool skins that Rito won't. If you do use custom skins be sure you're buying real skins too.
