I'm curious
Why do we "bounce" between the old and new server? I know the move is still being made but what is the reason to switch between the two servers? Is it testing reasons? efficiency? Idk but I'm curious.

i would say testing purposes. if they were to just do a move it would probably force people to get offline. not only that but you have to remember that there are probably thousands of players at any given moment. if all of them try to get on and get into a game it would be too stressful for the server and would crash it.
At least with little by little having everyone move to the new one will cause less of a problem than just forcing everyone in on it! plus if there is a problem its the'll at least see where the problem lies and whatnot!
