my explanation of elo hell that i just came up with based on my recent experiences

elo hell is when you get stuck being unable to win games no matter what and it isnt ur fault because you cant solo carry. but wait you say im the problem because i cant solo carry and i am where i should be? wrong, i would be able to if i could improve but you cant in this environment because you get stuck in games that are equivalent to a 3v5 except instead of it just being 3v5 the team with 5 gets a free kill and gold for it added every min

One season I got placed in bronze V (or was it IV? Not sure)

I played SUPPORT (fuking support not a carry lane SUPPORT)

And I went immediately from Bronze V/IV all the way to silver with 0 issues what so ever. I think I dropped like 1 game or something not sure.

Silver/gold maybe you have some issues. But climbing is defined by your overall winrate not by every game.

If you have a 50+% winrate you'll climb. But you only have a 50.3% winrate according to LOLKING

Which surprises me cause holy shit you have 300k mastery points on Jinx? Man I'd love it if my ADC's had that many points on their champs haha.

Maybe your problem is still rooted in your own play? Maybe you shouldn't assume supports/other players in this rank will understand how to peel for you properly? Perhaps you should get onto the team recruitment boards and look for a support to duo que with. Likely you'll find a good one who will play with you all the time.

thanks for the tip, ill look into the recruitment boards i guess. but really its not just things like not knowing how to peel, its straight up feeding and letting the other team snowball early, no awareness, etc.

Maybe play a more trolly ADC? someone who can put a lot of distance between you and the fed laners?

Or just someone who can dominate lane so hard its impossible to stop you once you get fed? Like Draven or Lucian

i guess i could try that too, i mainly just play jinx and varus but draven is another strong pick for me. btw if you still play add me we can play :D

Varus is good because he's super long range. You might be able to pull him off just because most assassins can't reach you very easily. Draven takes a lot of practice so I don't really recommend taking him into ranked until you have AT LEAST 100k mastery points on him. This might seem extreme but a lot of ranked is just glancing at that map and keeping yourself aware of whats going on around your lane but beginner draven players can't do that cause they're too busy catching axes.

I do still play, but I rarely ever play Ranked I only really do normals.

tbh i play more aram than anything else, idk if you saw that when you checked my stats. but i play enough ranked to get gold every season since season 4 and i dont really like norms too much :/
