So Riot is totally full of shit

I've only played two games today. First game- smooth and quiet, easy. Second game? NOT good, had a trolling garen and a toxic viktor mid. End game we tell eachother to fuck off- i leave lobby and got instantly banned. After getting 3 chat restrictions i never deserved in the place, that i requested four times for proof, was denied my chat logs proof and my requests ignored. No one ever reviewed my account, for anything at all. Never reviewed for toxicity, because if it was i Know I wouldn't be banned right now without a doubt. The timing was as soon as viktor's report went in- i got banned for 14 days.

I'm done with this game. I never deserved the first 3 chat restrictions i got, sent in multiple support tickets about it, had it ignored, and got banned because people report me because THEY'RE pissy.

Riot SAID that they review ban cases- so i was never worried i would get banned because if they at least reviewed cases when people were supposed to get banned, then i would be fine, and i could live with false chat restrictions since no one would help me. But apparently, they don't review shit and let their customers rot. I'm never coming back to play this game. I've wasted way too much time supporting a company that doesn't care about me, or anyone else who plays their game. There isn't one company I can think of that would freely ban someone's account without ever reviewing anything. I'm done.

I'm utterly DISGUSTED at the complete lack of care for their customers. That they have this system in place, and it really pisses me off to be honest, i was already really upset about the false chat restrictions. It disgusts me they still don't have the tribunal up and running, I seriously have a deep, disgusting hatred of riot after all of this, and I seriously won't ever be coming back and will never encourage anyone else to play this poor excuse for a gaming company's game.

I was there for both games. the timing is REALLY suspect on riot's part.

if it was 'reviewed', then the ban would've been upon logging in. after the first game, nothing happened, because nothing went down in game.

Now, after the 2nd game, which had a garen who built 6 boots of speed -_-, we know it wasn't based off of in game chat, as that would've been a pop-up on entering the post game chat. That didn't happen. Instead, the ban came in after we left the post game lobby, so that tells me that it only went through after SOMETHING went through the system that leaving the post game chat...like the number of reports.

Now, i am completely convinced that restrictions/bans are handed out on a report threshold, as the timing of this couldn't have happened unless this was the case.

they aren't reviewed by a person. they are 'reviewed' by a program. that is why it is almost instant. he said some things the program flagged as toxic and he had been flagged a few times before that = ban.

Oh yeah, riot is totally full of shit when they say they review anything. They won't hand over chat logs anymore, and everything is automated. EVERYTHING. I only play every once in a blue moon anymore when I'm EXTREMELY bored because I can't handle their blatant disregard for their customers, I'm waiting for some good things to actually happen to their game before i consider playing seriously again.

I can't stand riot anymore.

did you get baited into harassing a player? because that's what people do. they do bad, troll, harass you, until you do somthing back to them so they can report you. that's how they feed off their behaivor.... best thing you shouldve done, mute them and keep on playing. you getting mad at them or saying something to them, is only going to make them freak out on you and everyone even more.

That's why i only played 2 games today, people here are way too toxic. this other game i started playing is so much better hehe ( add me and ask me for the name , cause without a doubt it will get removed by someone lol ). im a complete noob and people are giving me stuff without me even asking lol. too friendly of environment.

For my first 3 restrictions, i was never toxic. I was sarcastic, maybe at worst. Or someone would yell at me for xyz and i would tell them, "well, you're not doing xyz so im doing it" then they would report me.

I honestly had an amumu report me because i said, "why is no one concerned with pushing these huge waves out? its literally free gold." he said, "muted and reported" like, wtf? that's why i was DEMANDING my chat logs from riot, because I knew i hadn't deserved them, but they completely blew me off.

I got a 190 game restriction for nothing, and at this point i was honestly just pissed off and pissy about it and started to actually get really pissed off in game. then boom- banned. completely disproportionate and uncalled for, unreviewed, and instant.

This is an alt. support-only account, I was making it a personal point to never be toxic, but the restrictions kept coming for literally nothing and it was like a big slap in my face from riot with a big message, "WE DON'T GIVE A FUCK" and I'm just disgusted. I send in tickets and they don't care, well, then I don't care either. Plenty of other good MOBA's that aren't run by a company that makes EA look good in my eyes.

bro you can't even say something in a sarcastic manner, or even call someone bad or noob. heck, you can't even try to give people ADVICE/TIPS without them getting butthurt or mad. they will end up reporting you. you know what i had to do in order for me to get that brawlers icon, i had to move my chat down in order to ignore everyone.

recently i made a post about a lee sin that harassed me early game and we ended up winning that match. i said - " lol lee 2 11 , should be in the LCS " I got a warning for verbal abuse bro. you're barely level 26 man, just wait until you find out how league's community is all about.... you're not gonna like it man.

well tbh riot isnt helping, they could fix how their ladder system works so that people arent put in a situation where they have to asses what is wrong so deeply. It gets to a point after self improvement, where you only go so far with no reward for all your effort, that people are forced to see that their own team mates are the next big deciding factors in their position . . . which obviously cant be good in any way.

See, that shit is nothing, i got a chat restriction for some BS, i dont even remember what. I served it and decided to go here on teh boards and make a post discussing the general issue in the game that might be causing these events. No where did i specifically mention that i didnt deserve my chat restriction, I even admited deserving it and it wasnt even the main point of the post ( i think i mentioned it once ). you wanna know what fucking happened? Riot Rohjin (i think that is how u spelled it) came on to my post, put in the comments my chat logs and baned me right fucking there . . . . I was trying to help solve a problem, because its unhealthy for this game, and i get banned. I was being honest and taking responsibility and I GOT BANNED, PUBLICLY, WITH NO REPECT TO MY PRIVACY!

Moral of the story: you tell someone to f&*% off and you get banned.

You have no justification for your anger. Did a PERSON at riot review your case before banning you? Doubtful. Did you deserve the ban? Most likely.

oh yeah, there's a bunch of dick-licking suck ups here that think, "oh no! not my precious riot, they would never do anything wrong ever!" yet the evidence is in their face that they're lieing sacks of shit. People refuse to ever acknowledge the truths just because it hasn't happened to them- doesn't mean it's not happening. Yet every person who has a case like this is automatically dismissed by this atrocious, shitty community who thinks they can do no wrong. Everything about this game, the community, and riot makes me sick.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. The other day I was playing with my lvl 21 boyfriend. (I'm unranked, but when I play with my bronze friends they usually are so easily beaten it's frightening) This kid came in and of course was a lvl 25 and was one of the most toxic trolls I've ever seen. Now when I was a lower elo, I use to trash talk and insult people a lot. But as I matured I decided to help people with their mistakes and look now I almost never get trolls... but playing with my boyfriend oh my lord it's miserable. I just remember at one point someone kept taking the health (aram) and I asked them "Hey, can we try not automatically running to steal the health please." And someone else responded with some "Stop being a jerk" shit. Then the next game I got the same two assholes, and I asked if anyone wanted my champ and they went off with their trolling. And my response was "Omg, you guys again..." I mentioned something about low elos and how I cannot stand them because they were pushing me and I received a "Kill yourself" comment, of course. I told them they had no idea what ELO was and sounded angry and then I muted them. Well someone reported me for negative attitude and riot actually sent me one of those "Your behavior is not in line with how most LoL players act." Like holy shit? You don't say? Idk if you have noticed Riot but most league of legends players are 12 year old sociopaths. This continues to happen to me. Every time I tell someone to mature up or stop fighting riot sends me messages like that. I'd just ultimately disable chat but I get in trouble for that too. I hate their system.

Could you link your chatlogs that you got in your email? Otherwise other people can't judge if it's a (un)fair 14-day ban.

...they never sent me my chat logs like i asked them to. I said that. I asked for my chat logs four different times, and they refused to ever send them to me then literally closed my ticket down without ever answering me.

I honestly don't even care anymore. I'm going to go play dota, I'm honestly 100% done with riot and their bullshit.

That was for the chat restrictions, right? (IIRC, they never give those in case of chat restrictions) Normally there is a automated email with the logs of your last game after receiving a 14-day ban. If you didn't get that email, you can send a ticket explaining that you didn't get your email and ask if they can resend it.

i got publicly banned on the forums after having already served a chat restriction as a punishment, and i was making a post trying to help solve a flaw in the system that might be the root of a lot of toxicity in this game. It was disrespectful and I hated it, so i sent in a support ticket, waited over a week (it was long, maybe 2 weeks) and they never responded. I looked it wasnt closed so I sent in a second one, I look the next day and the first and second were closed. they wouldnt help me or anything. I never said I didnt deserve the chat restriction, in fact i said i prolly did and was hoping my post was evidence that I was trying to do better.

they're doing it because of how you react to the trolls, it's ok to be mad or upset. we all go thru it everyday.... just try to not say it in the chat or towards the trolls.at the end you reacting this way is not going to help you. :( best of luck!

Tbh, your post has no credibilty as long you don't link the email that says you got banned and it contains your chat from the last game you played. Previously you mentioned to me, that you didn't get that email, so did you send a ticket yet asking to resend the email?

Personally, I have only seen 2 cases where it wasn't 14-day ban worthy so it's only logical that people respond like the commenter above. 1 of them was actually 14-day ban worthy if the person didn't direct the flaming to himself and the other his ban reduced to 4 days or something. Without the email, your story doesn't really hold any value and the community can't say anything useful about agreeing or disagreeing with the severity of the ban.

Then don't call bullshit until you're certain. It's not hard. Did you even read my post? And duh, of course i asked for the e-mail. What, you think they're going to respond right away? no. Every time I send a ticket the earliest response i ever get is by the next day. I've waited as long as 11 days for my tickets to be answered and closed. eleven. fucking. days.

and this post isn't just about the inappropriate punishment, it's about their bullshit system and how ridiculous this company is. Like i said in the post, i didn't even deserve the chat restrictions I ever got. Not one of them. First one i ever got i was MIND BLOWN that i actually got one because- not toxic. I don't post about this because I'm bluffing.

The system literally adds up numbers of reports, that's the only logical answer i have to my problems. Not about toxicity, it's about talking what so ever. It's about saying anything what so ever that isn't ass-kissing your teammates and riot will punish you for it if the children so wish to report you. That's what this is about. As i also stated, regarding my chat restrictions i asked them to be lifted or to send me my chat logs to prove I deserved a restriction.

Riot's response? They don't have chat logs anymore since the tribunal has been down, and 11 days later they closed my ticket without ever sending me my logs that i asked for 4 times, telling them i know they have chat logs. Riot can take a flying leap because i'm seriously not going to play this game anymore.

At least you got chat restricted first. I was banned for 2 weeks as a first offense last year (been a player since season 1), for telling a toxic player that they're bad at the game and selfish and should probably uninstall it instead of screwing over their team.

I agree 100%, Riot is definitely full of shit.
