Arguments against Ranked blind pick?
This thread isn't to reflect my opinion in any way, I understand the logistics behind draft pick for Ranked matches (more bans would be nice, but w/e). Just wondering what's the general opinion against blind pick for Ranked.
The only thing I can think of are traditionalists who don't want their process changed. I personally believe to be the best at a game (which is what Ranked is suppose to denote, right? Who's better than who?) you need to be able to face all challenges.. Not only rely on knowing your opponent and counter picking.
Again, I understand why Ranked is in draft pick, I do like that process, I am not in any way insulting draft pick. I'm just being curious as to what the arguments against blind pick is other than "IT'S RANDOM AND SO IT CAN BE INCREDIBLY ONE SIDED" Well, isn't that the same as saying this game sucks? If the balance is so skewed that you HAVE to fight one champ with another?
