Did you hit your limit on how many you can earn? I can't earn a chest for another 2 days even if I get an S.
What am I missing? On another note this is my 7x game in which someone on my team or myself gets a letter S and no key. Its is so frustrating. I got 13.5 k/d/a as SUPPORT and have the most wards placed and destroyed. Im also the only one who upgraded their trinket. Facepalm. Come on Rito give us support mains some slack. We arent supposed to farm cs or take kills
Well, your ability to earn a chest does not affect your grade at the end.
Many factors go into your grade. How good was your kill participation? Damage done to champions? How about objectives you took or assisted in taking down? How many wards did you place? How was your cs? How long did the game last?
These are just some of the things that we know for a fact affect your grade. Any one of them can offset another (most commonly, supports get s ranks for good kill participation, wards, and structure assists. As Zyra, damage done would be helpful for getting a higher grade as well). Also, deaths dramatically decrease your chances of getting an s. Also, shorter game times increase the grade you get, so that may be a factor here.
You don't get keys for S- / S / S+ grades. You get them by random chance (deteriorating with each key found that month cycle) each time you win a game.
