[Scholarly Survey] help me complete my undergraduate thesis on League of Legends!

Fellow Summoners, , I’m a senior Communication Studies major at the College of Wooster in Ohio. In order to graduate I need to do a research project. For my study, I’m analyzing the *motivations *players have for playing League of Legends! I’m turning my greatest hobby into an actual scholarly study, it is super sweet. It would be extremely helpful if you would take the survey I have prepared for my study.

**You do have to be at least 18 years of age in order to complete this survey. **

The more people I get to take this, the more representative my data will be, so please tell your friends to take this as well. Once I finish my study and write my report, I will do a follow-up post about my findings and conclusions so that you all can see what I was able to do with your help! This type of surveying is subject to too many biases to be viable. Firstly, only people who visit LoL's boards, and specifically the Miscellaneous one will even see this. Secondly, response bias is a thing.

Have you discussed this with your thesis advisor?

While I appreciate your concern...

You assumed this is the only place I'm recruiting participants, which is not true.
There are some reliability limitations, as there are with all types of self-reported surveys.
3/4ths of the measurements have been pulled from (and cited) similar types of successful scholarly surveys.
My adviser, and HSRC review board, gave explicit approval after various revisions.

I understand that, but this is only an undergraduate thesis. If I continue my studies in the future I'm sure experience will help me better the future studies. I do value your feedback, so thanks!
