Any tips on improving and carrying?

Im stuck in silver and cant seem to climb out. Everything is all fine and dandy all the way up till I get into silver 3, and I honestly dont know whats going on.

small rant: Are people in s3 the boosted people from bronze 5 that couldnt keep up in gold+? I dont like to blame my team for a whole lot cause I know there is always something you can do to prevent certain things from happening and stuff but come on fam. Its like im playing in bronze 4-5 again, no one likes to listen to pings, all they do is flame and give up at 5. The amount of times I see ff at 20 because I cant fight against an aggressive early game comp as a late game champ is rediculous, and on top of all that you cant even give item suggestions without your asscheeks gettin roasted. Yes, mute is a thing but sometimes people make good calls and such so it makes it hard to keep them muted cause you need that communication, especially if they never ping.

Everything is perfectly fine in s4 and s5, everyone wants to work together to win and even if we get behind we manage to comeback hard a'f and pull a win out of our butts. I know it might just be me getting lucky but its just irritating to go from that to what looks to be bronze dressed in poorly made silver costume.
