Weather on summoners rift

I was thinking about weather effects on summoners rift, maybe it starts raining/thunderstorms after 45-60 minutes in game or something to make the match more dramatic. Snowfall if it's during the holiday season or night time effects if it relates to a new champion coming out (maybe Aridian Sol.) No effect on the game in particular, just cosmetics and eye candy. I was wondering what people might think about this idea. Any thoughts?

Also not sure if this is the right area to create a dicussion, I am a bit new to the forum..

Man that would be so amazing. Random weather cycles would make everything so epic. Sadly Riot seemed a bit too lazy to even make the rift snowy the past few years so I dont see this happening anytime soon.

I'd buy weather packs if that was a thing. I know they want to keep visual clarity and all that, but if it's optional I'd do it.
