gifting as soon as you become freinds??
I don't like the idea of the 2 week thing, what if you have a really good friend you want to exchange gifts and you just realized he plays league, and now u need to wait 2 weeks. I just don't like that.

I think it is to help prevent scamming a bit, idk.
It is one way for players to gain some trust, instead of bumping into random people and then you were highly hoping the other guy would keep his word to trade mystery gifts, which in reality you just got scammed by it.
well you can play a game with them and gift them after the game in the end game lobby
