Curious about LoL misconception of Dota carries.

Since my ISP is apparently routing to the moon to connect to Chicago, had some time to return to dotes, and was just curious:

I feel like I always heard League players talk about how crazy Dota carries were, but I feel like AP/AD carries snowball more and become much harder to shut down than any hero in Dota. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a Dota 2 carry 1v3 or 1v4 an enemy team, usually they just get stunned and deleted without support even late game, but a fed/farmed AD/AP facerolling most of the opposition by themselves seems to be a regular occurrence in League.

Just curious where the idea that Dota carries were bigger monsters than LoL carries came from? This isn't a criticism, I like both games and feel they each have their pros and cons.

Hm, tough one to answer. This question should've been asked about a year- year and a half ago. I also heard people complain about dota and it's supposed lack of comebacks, but that was when we had an actual GD.
