On that note though, this is why I hate ad mids. Mids should be ap as adcs are ad, you should only pick an ad mid either AFTER ap has been picked elsewhere, or after consulting with your teammates that they have ap options. It wouldn't be unreasonable for a player to only be practiced on ad tops or junglers.

I mean, even if your top laner can go ap, your top is typically tanky and not dealing loads of damage. Ad mids are risky if you don't know who you're playing with...
