What is the purpose of this board?

Isn't General Discussion supposed to be the "This doesn't go anywhere else, so put it here" board? I don't understand the purpose of this board. Can someone explain?

It's sort of become a less awful GD at this point. But there are also some League-related topics that don't really fit into the rest of the categories available. The new Merch is an easy example that comes to my mind.

I see. Are you allowed to discuss non-league things casually here? I hate the weaboos on GD and want to know if I can move here! :D
