Gnar & Vel'Koz

I'm a top and mid lane pick who loves champions that aren't totally brain-dead and simple. I don't mind putting hour of practice into champions. I've got over 6300 ip and want to buy either Gnar or Vel'Koz.

Gnar just seems to fun, with a unique passive, multiple abilities, mobility, and the ability to get better through experience and skill.

Like Gnar, Vel'Koz is highly skill shot dependent, but has a high reward and can also carry the game, plus, the the feeling of landing an entire combo is so satisfying.

Thoughts?

Vel'koz. Gnar is heavily reliant on the balance team for being useful. Vel'koz is still useful even when the meta is against him.

Mega-gnar is skillshots. Mini-gnar is basically on-hit kennen/teemo/(insert ranged champ here). Much as people talk about his q buff... his main damage comes from his 3 hit passive on his w. So if you have played on-hit ranged toplaners and like them, get gnar. If you don't like them, don't pick him or you will probably be underwhelmed.
