Hard Carry AP Midlane?

Looking for a hard carry AP midlaner but can't decide between Azir and Fizz

Azir is super strong in the late game, and if played well, can easily solo carry. I don't mind spending too much time on him, since he's getting reworked and could possible be more viable. Also, I love making flashy plays, and nothing is better than a successful teamfight, and Azir is great at that.

I'm also looking at Fizz, which, in my opinion is far simpler and easier to play. I may have to get used to his playstyle a bit but I don't mind spending some time on him. I do have experience on AD assassins like Talon and Zed, so I understand how to assassinate priority targets, but using Fizz's ultimate might take some time getting to used to (since I have to land it first and not use it later like Talon).

Both, I think, are hard carry midlaners, but they are totally different and I just wanna know which I should spend my time into.
