What a game...

I just have to tell someone cause this was a ridiculous game. I was Quinn adc. Support Blitz. Blitz got angry at me for picking Quinn adc even before the game started in pregame chat. Not cause we had any other person wanting the role (in fact it got dumped on me as last pick), but because Quinn isn’t good enough for him.

Game starts. I get first blood, except Blitz steals it with an ignite when they seriously had 100 hp and I was about to get the kill. whatever. A kill is a kill. I ignore that he stole it. Blitz says something negative to me about like “see I told you. We only got that kill cause of me.” I got annoyed and so I instantly muted my entire team.

I know I shouldn’t let that kinda attitude get to me, but I find that when someone is negative, I respond better by just instantly muting EVERYONE (regardless of if others have started being negative or not) and playing the best I can via pings.

So, then I notice Blitz starts taking CS when I get back to lane. Because of that I decide to go a weird item build and rush lifesteal items so that I can effectively jung and roam. So I pick up bligewater (for botrk) and a 2nd vamp scepter (I ended up making it a bloodthirster) and I start duo jungling and roaming. Things actually go decently well. WW is our jung and he had just hit 6 around the time I get 2nd vamp scepter, so he’s off ganking a lot now. I do other lanes and take whatever jung I can besides buffs. Bot gets pushed, but ww also ganks and I don’t completely ignore bot, but I stay away if I can.

Other team is like Jinx, Veigar, Lux (supp), Fiora, and Gragas. Our team is WW, Blitz, Me (Quinn), Nasus, ad Fizz.

Our team is doing okay actually. Kill wise it’s very even. They have slightly more objectives, but we aren’t completely out. At one point something happens. I honestly forget what causes it, but they push down mid hardcore. I think we were out prepping Baron or Drag and someone like Fiora split pushed and we ended up getting aced 4v5. Or something... Anyways, we lose our mid tower, inhib, and the two base towers. So the main base is exposed. We turn it around and take some fights and objectives like drag and our mid inhib has respawned by this point. Also, our Nasus does a similar split push to their top when the rest of us win a fight 4v5 and he takes their top tower and inhib.

Now, it gets pretty even again and everything respawns. By this point it’s basically end game. I’m not full build, but I have a lot. Jinx is really fed though. She’s definitely their #1. Nasus is probably ours, but we are all kinda even-ish.

So, it’s getting intense and everyone knows everyone wants baron. We kill off one of their guys at some point and ww desperately pings for Baron. I’m almost there (basically just passed blue) and I suddenly see Jinx STORMING down mid. The tower is already down, so she takes out the inhib in like 2 seconds. I know exactly what she’s planning to do as soon as I see her going down mid super close to our base. So, I hit ult and gain that massive movespeed.

I don’t make it to base before inhib dies. She’s already on our main base and she’s got it to around half health already!! I jump on her, but as I do she hits me with her shock and maybe one or two autos before I reach her and blind. So, she ults me while she’s blinded. I think I’m at like 1/4th hp. I ult out of Valor and she dies from that burst. At this point some minions have done more damage to base and base is around 1/4th hp and I’m ALSO around 1/4th hp. Meanwhile, my team is pushed into their base, but it’s 4v4 up there now and we don’t have their two base towers, but I think they did manage to take top AND mid inhib.

So, as I was saying... she died, BUT she is full build jinx (she even had pot I think) and she bought Guardian Angel). So, I know Jinx is about to rez and I have no hp and our base has no hp. Like one hit will kill me and maybe 3 hits for base at the most. So, I’m standing there like . Jinx rezzes and immediately targets base, but I throw a blind immediately also. So, she’s missing and I start hitting her. She shocks me, but I gained a little life from hitting her and I barely survive. She heals and I E her and she dies and my team manages to push and end the game.

I’ve played LoL a long time and had very similar finishes, but never in a game I so completely thought was a goner.
