Ranked is supposed to be a serious environment where people actually try their best to win. If you cant handle losing lane to the point where you AFK, Harass teammates and even leave the game, don't play. You ruin the game for your team and for the enemy team. We get it can be frustrating, but a team cant make a comeback if you don't actually try to. When people queue ranked they don't expect to get 5 overly positive teammates that are hellbent on winning, but they sure as hell don't want to get someone who is going to be negative through the whole game and totally ruin the fun.

I have the same thoughts even for unranked games. Its like when you push play, you've agreed that you might not win this one. Its the same for any other game so why rage so hard that you become toxic and ultimately unhelpful? When I have a rough time in any lane I just ward up and farm up. It helps not only me but also my team. Yet when I suggest ward up and farm up to someone else in a rut they fly off the handle. x'D Its like what?

I expect that your plea is going to fall on deaf ears. Or blind eyes as the case might be.

The problem is that you are dealing with people who have never really faced much adversity. Most computer games almost hold the hand of the player. If you fail you go back to the last save point and try again. You have infinite lives and the game will even adjust the difficulty to make it as simple as possible. (when the game doesn't really play itself as some newer games appear to be capable of.)

So we have people in LoL who have no understanding of how to work with others and no experience struggling to win where they can't just AFK and come back later to try again.

Worse, they are unable to realize that they are causing trouble for others. Its not like you are sitting next to them and would walk over and smack them for being negative and ruining the game. This isn't Asia. (where there have been murders over people griefing in online games.)

I wish things could get better, but unless Riot wanted to somehow generate 2 classes of player and dump all of the problem children into a second pool it won't happen. And if they did that, there would be constant problems with people getting thrown into the wrong pool thanks to "help" from their friends/enemies.

The fun was ruined when you (as in a recent teammate) went 1/7 to a LeBlanc. Nothing better than a fed mage with no counterplay, right? OH WAIT, there is! Because the team before, bot lane went 2/7 to a Jinx! Fantastic! She ended the game 20/1. Thanks for not ffing that joy.

Another thing that's bad is when you see that one guy who you know is one tilt right from before the game starts. Typically they start by saying something such as "Well I hope you guys do better than my last team" or "I really hope you can finally end my losing streak, i'm tired of struggling to climb." Then depending on how champ select goes they say something along the lines of "Man, they got (insert op champ) we are probably screwed". This kid of person is just terrible for the morale of the team and is also generally not going to do well because of their being on tilt. Remember if you don't feel any confidence that you can win, you probably shouldn't continue playing.

Yeah, couldn't agree more. I just saw a Vayne give up on the game because the jungler was 3s late to gromp. Supporting that little bundle of joy was an experience, especially when she decided she was a Riven and wanted to melee Ali to death.

What are you trying to get out of this discussion? It's not a new issue. We're already in Season 5. Rito would've fixed the issue a long time ago if they wanted, or if they could. It's not something you and millions of other players including me can stop. Well, I guess at least you will feel better after typing it out.

Guys,

Please note that sometimes people get disconnected. For example, about an hour ago, I got disconnected and could only connect for a few seconds, before getting disconnected again. Of course, now the game wants me to type "I Agree" before joining a queue :), even though this killed my winning streak on ranked.

i main adc....very often i get last pick "griefer" types as support in their scorn they often refuse to do their job in impede mine intentionally

i have quite literally...played my last game with that shit when i get a griefer i leave...period

Ranked games are generally ruined by those who gives up or generally acts like a dick.

I also have a problem with ranked itself, promos are Riot's game of saying "Hey! If you're so good, you can carry your teamates no matter what and get X wins out of X games!'

Promoting "solo-carry" = Promoting trolls not to listen to teammate and act like they're god and then go do big stunts they can't actually do and throwing the game.

It will never be fixed. Riot generates revenue off champions and primarily skins. They have little to no incentive at all of permanently banning someone from Ranked.
