How Long Will League Last?
Of course Riot is keeping the game fresh but I wonder: how many more years will people keep playing this game?

At its current rate, another 10 years for sure.
League will last years after Maplestory falls.
A long time i would think cant be specifc because any thing can happen in the future .
I have played with quite a few game in may day play close attention to lore and balance and player communication. the thing that will determain league futrue ether damming it or flourishing it is the risk that they take.
on the lore side they did something i never expected they retcon the core of their world that being the instatue of war, to allow for artistic freedom the lore they have given out scene then has been wonderful and awe inspiring i look forward to every new lore coming out now because of it and with over 120 champ this is getting quite exciting. Now what they did this harrowing was really bad but i don't want to open that can of worms here. but the way it was handdled was not a good in terms of the game's longevity if they remained inconsistent with historical events.
as far as play communication goes they are getting a lot more personal with the game state. referring to dev corner's recent post. it is a step in the right direction they are not giving up their game creator integrity and are starting to proactively listen to fans,
The only thing that riot has to do now is balance the game to the best of there ability they game has been her for soon to be 6 years now as a result there is a lot of old things that need to be changed. but going in to that in full would open a different can of worms. i like where riot is going so far but going back to the communication they do need to tell us what there plans are for some of the more toxic champs
ill say half - 2 year the game changing too much cant keep up.
I personaly addicted to league since I first start, I get my account to lv 30 in 2-3 month that show how much I play everyday. and I keep saying league is love and league is life. on the computer watching league game. but now not anymore. kind of * bore and no sence of " FUN" in league.
It will go for as long as riot decides to keep it going. the pro scene is only growing and that is going to keep people playing and more people will show up.
But if I had to guess I would say another 7 years at least.
I'm estimating somewhere around 4-7 years. This is just my guess though.
