Ban message says person that retaliates will receive punishment, yet did not, so why lie?

Team was griefing me for "dying" in mid lane. I didn't say a single thing until they started complaining about me. Even when the jungler came and died mid, I didn't say a word. Then they start griefing me, and they report me after game. The message to my email says people who retaliate get punished also but he's still online, so why lie about it? You're not punishing anyone other than the victims of mob justice. Oh, even better, you don't include anything else they said in the case so there's no context? Right. What moron came up with this shitty system?
