No i see so many that don't have any game sense. They might be able mechanically better than me, but I've not seen many that know how to close a game. Just got out of one of these games where people would be split for no reason when we had a somewhat teamfight team.

There is nothing mechanically different from gold and plat its game knowledge that comes with time its all your perception. Same with the difference between gold 5 and gold 2, theres no difference from plat 5 and plat 1 besides game knowledge too. Players think the next elo is Jupiter in size when in reality its mars.

Gold and Plat are far from being the same.

i feel bad for you if that perception is still in your head. sure the higher ends compared to the lower ends but when you get to the meat and potatoes they are both shit at the end of the day

I think if you are higher than gold 3 and lower than plat 3, than there isn't a difference.

However, Plat 1 and Gold 5 actually are very different.

correct. To an extent except i would go as far as plat 1 those players are braindead as well..

Welll, I consider myself a plat 1 even tho i got lucky and made d5 lol

But ya, I think Bronze 3 and silver 3 is in the same skill level, S2 to G4 another, G4 to P4 another, P3 and D4 is about the same,

Then D3 D2 D1 are just another story lol

If you were right, majority of gold players wouldn't be "stuck" in divisions 5 or 4 with basically Silver mmr. Majority of Gold players would just lose to any Plat with actual Plat mmr. Then there's the fact Gold no longer even decays due to how unimportant it is other than for getting the skin.

they are stuck because its their mindset or they dont play enough. Guy i was coaching went from silver 5 when he said he got stuck in gold 2 i said theres no difference its all your perception get over the hump and play the games like you already won them you just have the burden of actually playing them and he's diamond 5 now.

Actually there isn't much difference. Typically just game sense. I've been in plat last season and Gold this and there is almost no difference other than some game knowledge. Most players aren't even much better overall.

I'm not even talking about mechanics of a gold vs a plat. I'm talking about me personally and other golds since thats where I'm at.

And there is a difference between the players at the bottom of a league and the top. A plat 5 is actually quite worse than a Plat 1. There are some who just get the shaft and a bad draw, but most are there because they are only slightly better than a gold player. The higher in the leagues you go the bigger the difference is. Maybe in bronze and silver the difference isn't as much but hitting plat/diamond you get big differences.

No. From my experience with playing with bronze, silver, gold, plat, and the occasional diamond, master, and challenger (only 1). Plats will only stomp you in lane, but they still struggle with making calls and closing out games like silvers and bronze do. Gold however, seems no different than silver to me. At least when compared to me. When I look at bronze, and plat+ I can see clear skill differences that separate me from all of them.

Most plat players only know how to play their main champions which makes it so like you said they can only do good in lane because they still dont know the game. The ones ive played with actually play worse than most of the gold players ive seen its amazing. Sure there are some minor differences but a piece of poop and another one with corn in it at the end of the day its all just poop.
