Help with my computer, tech savy friends I have a z87 asus sabertooth motherboard and a i5 4690k cpu

What the fuck is the problem.

Ok so i put everything together. before installing the CPU it is recommended I update the bios because z87 has issues with haswell 4k series (i5's and i7's both have issues apprently with this chipset board..) Everything flashes and updates and blah blah blah its fine.

Install CPU computer won't boot. Light on bottom of board is green. Gtx 960 light is bright white. Nothing turns on.

No bios nothing.

What the fuck happened. This is the first computer I have ever built. I follwed the manual exactly I read through every manual and nothing has helped.

Please anyway with experience. Rioters. Normal players.

Pros. Anyone, give me help. I love you forever if you solve this issue. I have requested an RMA and they have yet to approve on newegg.

Also their packaging was shit. my motherboard was packaged under SIX OTHER ITEMS I BOUGHT, my brother shit bricks when he opened it and found the board on bottom. What the fuck kind of idiot packaged this?

The most fragile peice of the entire computer is on the bottom?????????????????????????????

Make sure you have the monitor plugged into the video card and not the motherboard. Make sure all cables are connected PROPERLY. Also, you may want to swap around some cables in case you have a dud, but usually check this if you can't figure out anything else. PSU and video card are working if they're turning on. Sounds like you probably plugged something in wrong tho.

Edit: May have read it wrong, put your CPU in the mobo and turn it on lmao. Not going to work w/o CPU homie.

If CPU isn't working, I'd send it back and say you ordered the wrong one and get a 4670 or something. Do your research and make sure everything is compatible before you build it. Use PCpartpicker to help you build it properly. If you get one part that doesn't work, its a huge pain in the ass. As you know.
