Please RIOT you are incapable of learning. I will keep telling the community exactly what they need to hear until I finish getting all the champions. Keep trying though and remember while I may think (know factually) that you are trash another will find you a treasure :)

No matter how much you try to blame riot. You almost definitely earned that restriction. Ass hat.

tsetberg1 votes

See your in need of a ban but you wont get one

Yet I who makes insightful logical comments to try and help people I get banned.

Its proof that RIOT hates intelligence.

Obviously by proof I mean further proof, the original proof are the people working at riot lol.

ImAHeroForFun4 votes

The difference is right now we aren't in game. if we were I wouldn't have said anything at all unless it were objective related. you haven't given any proof at all. lol. you just want everyone to blindly believe you don't deserve a ban even though you just said you tell people what riot wont. which we are left to infer means you're being a dick which is a proper inference considering that restriction. but thanks again. ass hat

Not necessarily, people have been reporting left and right trying to remove season rewards just to be dicks.

Yeah, but reports != restrictions. All reports do is trigger reviews.

I feel like you understand the basics of it, but if a BULK of reports is applied to one account. Its an instant restriction.

Where did you get that information? It completely conflicts with every statement I've seen from Riot on the matter, as well as their general policies. So I'm quite curious to read up on it myself.

No, that's true. I just follow RiotLyte on reddit and twitter to keep track of things, since that's where he prefers to discuss system functions.

But I suppose I'll go digging through a few thousand Boards red posts when I get home to try to find these arbitrary posts I've never seen before that conflict with all of Riot's previous claims.

You wouldn't happen to have any identifying information about this so I could perhaps use a search function to maybe shave some hours off of this search, would you?

Or perhaps you could just cite your claims?

Jubbinaut4 votes

So what is it that they're incapable of learning? I don't see where you're actually stating anything other than your determination to keep speaking this "truth" of yours.

tsetberg1 votes

I forgot I posted this. RIOT games and their community gave me an ulcer so ive been coughing up some blood instead of trying to finish the champ grind. It's pointless to explain if people can't see how bad modern gamers have become then we live in a sickeningly horrid world right now.

Jubbinaut2 votes

Oh, I see just fine. I'm simply wondering what, specifically, you think they need to learn.

tsetberg1 votes

They need to learn temp bans don't work. Yeah it corrects the morons but im going to keep trying to improve people even if they dont like it.

Jubbinaut4 votes

Well, I suppose that makes sense.

Of course, I think it's most likely that they won't "learn" that. Or rather that - having learned it - they see it rather differently than you do.

Then again, you could simply approach your attempts at education in a less-than-toxic manner, and never have to deal with the punishment system again.

tsetberg1 votes

Yeah but you need to understand the difference between reality and perception. For example if the sun is yellow and I call it yellow i'm not being rude, im being honest. Same works for people. If you call a fat person fat you are not being rude. You simply stated a fact. So when I say someone made a decision that should legally qualify them to be labelled a retard... it means they should legally be labelled a retard im not exaggerating for effect. They display an inability to make functional decisions and an inability to learn. They are in fact lucky that modern games are not more closely scrutinized for this behavior. Given that the drop in education has occurred in almost direct correlation with the modern trend of holding nobody accountable or responsible for their failures. This propagates through video games as well. A player plays poorly, nothing happens. A player mentions that they played poorly they get banned. All that can come from my comments is that player either quits (which improves gameplay for the rest of the players) or they practice and get better (which again improves gameplay). When someone makes a legitimate claim of something I need to work on in game I don't report them for verbal abuse no matter how rude they are about it I watch the recording see what I did wrong and try to fix it.

The real problem with the game is the people who are terrible and ruin the game as well as all other modern games are called the community and the players such as myself who attempt to be honest and make a difference in the game for the better are labelled toxic and banned. The direct cause of this is that modern game developers such as RIOT ONLY care about money not quality in any way shape or form as you can catch being commented in the NA LCS finals

Cute. I like backhanded insults, too.

For example if the sun is yellow and I call it yellow i'm not being rude, im being honest. Same works for people. If you call a fat person fat you are not being rude. You simply stated a fact.

And why can't it be both? It's fully possible to state something that is true while still being rude about it.

The objective truth of a statement is entirely and completely disconnected from its toxicity or rudeness value.

So when I say someone made a decision that should legally qualify them to be labelled a retard... it means they should legally be labelled a retard im not exaggerating for effect. They display an inability to make functional decisions and an inability to learn.

Unless you're a psychologist, you're ridiculously unqualified to make a statement such as that in any sense beyond exaggeration.

A player plays poorly, nothing happens.

That's not true. Something happens. Specifically, their MMR drops for every game they lose. In this way, they're shunted down to where their poor play doesn't affect those who are consistently better.

A player mentions that they played poorly they get banned.

Not necessarily. It's very much a matter of how you say it.

I've never been banned, for example, and I've pointed out plenty of poor plays - both my own and others.

All that can come from my comments is that player either quits (which improves gameplay for the rest of the players) or they practice and get better (which again improves gameplay).

And you don't see how the former is a significant problem for a company whose business model requires a massive playerbase?

The real problem with the game is the people who are terrible and ruin the game as well as all other modern games are called the community and the players such as myself who attempt to be honest and make a difference in the game for the better are labelled toxic and banned.

Again, it's all about how you make that difference. There are perfectly valid ways to make all the same points you wish to make without resorting to toxicity. If you genuinely want to make a positive difference in the game, you can do so without creating negative experiences for the players around you.

The direct cause of this is that modern game developers such as RIOT ONLY care about money not quality in any way shape or form as you can catch being commented in the NA LCS finals

It's probably a good thing that they do. Without money, they couldn't pay to keep their servers running, and you wouldn't be able to play anymore anyway.

All I got from that is that you want people to not be insulted when you call them fat or retarded. Like, seriously, where have you been the past X years when political correctness has been a huge thing? It's not socially acceptable to do say these things and hasn't been for many, many years. That being said I'm not saying your wrong necessarily, just that you can't say these things without repercussions. If you called someone fat or retarded in a large forum of people watching your conversation EVEN IF it were true, what exactly do you think would happen? Are they going to thank you for doing so? Are they going to say you're right, they need to lose weight or get properly tested? I doubt it. You may have that happen in 1 in 1000 cases but besides that, probably not. So, you can be right all you want and speak your mind, but you will still deserve the chat restriction and if you keep going it will keep extending. Unless of course Riot realizes that it's having no effect and gives you the ban you deserve.

The only point I agree with here is that the small bans don't don't work on people like you. People on their own self-righteous, pointless crusade that hasn't a snowballs chance in hell of actually doing anything. Some it will teach and they will change the behavior, I've see the result of that myself. You and people like you deserve the permanent ban, as from what I've read here, you either lack any form of empathy or are just that big of a jerk. You can try to dress it up in intelligent discussion any way you please, but that's still gonna be the conclusion I draw.

Looks like the one incapable of learning here isn't Riot.

tsetberg1 votes

Looks that way to you but with an education you would see it differently. See RIOT could have just perma banned me. I still tell people whats right just in limited supply now. So their community is suffering because of my chat ban. Im surprised they haven't perma banned me yet I dont spend money on the game and I know they punish the free players alot more than the pay to win players.

This game is in no way pay to win.

Doesn't it make you want to think before you speak?

COWmanLord2 votes

Technically speaking it would be honest and truthful to tell someone who just lost their entire family in a car accident "Sucks to be you", but most people wouldn't find that socially acceptable.

tsetberg1 votes

Most people are stupid. The real reason you don't say that is because you don't know what state they are in after that crash so you could be saying the wrong thing. What if they hated their family? What if they didn't care for their family and now inherited a bunch of money?

The fact is honesty is always better than lies. Giving league players the false idea that they are human or worthwhile in anyway other then feeding RIOT their disposable income (and other modern game devs) is far, far, far more toxic than honesty could ever be.

Trust me eventually the day will come when these no skill based, micro transaction filled ego farms that we refer to as "games" will stop working and players will either move towards games of skill or stop playing them altogether after they realize what these companies are doing to them. HINT: This will most likely take 20 years given how insanely stupid people are these days.

Another fact is that playing with your spaghetti is actually closer to a game than league of legends.

even I haven't been chat muted for that long

tsetberg1 votes

RIOT hates intelligence and honesty. I literally say nothing that isn't honest and truthful about people and they get madder and madder at me its hilarious and the whole time they are like "Oh no we hate toxicity!" I keep trying to tell them they define intelligence and honesty as toxic traits and the only thing they value is a blind uneducated dog like obedience. Who knows maybe ill get the worlds first permanent chat ban! But by that time my game should be out and riot wont have any more players :D

ImAHeroForFun3 votes

critiquing other people in a negative manner true or not isn't intelligent. its proven that positive reinforcement is productive more often than negative in almost every circumstance. Honesty is good, but sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut, you obviously lack social skills.
