I play ARAM a lot, and I thought what my item choices when I get an ADC were humorous.

: one or more of my abilities kicks ass, and I’m going to spam it all game long.

What, no item 3508 for the Pwnage ability? 80AD and an additional 10% CDR... Delicious.

On a side note, now I kind of want to read a fic where Sivir and Varus have a baby.

item 3142 has 10%CDR, too, as well as 30AD and 20armor pen. the extra mana regen on item 3508 is negligible, especially compared to item 3004 on ARAM's, so the real question is- which is more useful for an ability: 20 armor pen or 50AD? 1 armor pen is about 1% less HP you have to chew through, so if we only consider an ability hitting once, it would depend on whether or not 20% of their HP was more than 50AD times whatever ratio that ability has. on the whole, I think the armor pen wins out in most cases, but it's pretty close. I wanted to keep these down to 3 or less items because that's about how long a game lasts in my experience, but if I have time for a fourth, item 3508 is at the top of my list

Well, 20% CDR > 10% CDR, and I tend to forget that Tear and its upgrades exist (unless I'm playing Ryze). And really, does anyone buy item 3508 for the mana?

I'd like some more AD+CDR / ArPen+CDR items, though.
