Please god fix the jungle.
Just fix it. I don't appreciate dying at my first buff camp.
Just fix it. I don't appreciate dying at my first buff camp.
I noticed this myself as well, did they buff the jungle or something? If I am not playing WW which can sustain himself easily, anyone else I can only do like 2-3 camps before having to back and sometimes without having enough to even get first jng upgrade. While in the past I was at least about to get that and a few more pots.
They essentially tried to fix the jungle, but it inadvertently made it harder. Lol. The camps pretty much grant more XP but they hurt a LOT more. As noticed, the jungle items took QUITE a hit too. #RIP Trailblazer
Are you not taking the old practically mandatory mastery Tough Skin which is in the Resolve tree now? It really helps a lot I noticed. And I was playing
after changing my mastery page to make sure I had that now. And I did really well. Especially with
then upgrading into
since the later refills upon large monster kills, and if you still have max after killing a large monster it auto consumes it so you don't have a "wasted" stack since you probably used mana to kill them really fast.
It helps, but it just doesn't seem to be enough for people that can't hard core sustain early. People like Lee sin are unaffected while any AP mage or tank gets mowed in the jungle now
Yeah Tanks kinda got screwed over so far. I admit to that. Hopefully they get looked at for jungling problems.
Also would you consider
for as you put it "hard core sustain early"? Might try him out again to see how it goes. And honestly I have a 18/6/6 setup for myself which seems to work for me.
18-6-6 is the way to go, I've figured as much with all my fellow jungler friends... but rengo is still pretty good. His real early game like pre-level 6 is pretty hard because now you REALLY can't gank without missing a lot of hp. but overall? he can crap on ADC's if Lady Luck Is Smilin'
I kinda thought about 18/6/6 as a random idea I had while looking over my jungle mastereis and thinking: "So why does this seem harder? Might it be in here?" Low and behold: No Tough Skin would be the reason. Then I thought why not get both Tough Skin AND Runic affinity?
Also I'm no jungle main (or was even remotely good) and I find some of these changes nice. Jungle is surprisingly LESS scary for me now. But that's just me.
Side note: I will feel sorry for any assassin that thinks diving
was a good idea... Especially if he has:

His smoke screen gets more damage off AP. And Zhonya's gives him more armor and an annoying item active if you stupidly dive him. And I kinda just thought of this build right now for Graves... Maybe I should try it... Might be funny.
Not gonna lie, I faced a jinx as twisted fate.... I fooking love TF. I'm amazing at him... and I know his limits. I knew my Blue card+Q would one shot their Jinx. What i didn't know was she built Zhonyas and froze through both of them. So it works. Trust me... I died Quite the fast while i sat there scratching my fookin' head m8
I bet you felt like this for a bit! XD
I actually cried :(
Oh... Well then... http://sd.keepcalm-o-matic.co.uk/i/i-am-sorry-that-happened.png
Uh random question about your
knowledge: What happens when you have
and have his Blue Card proc at the same time? How much mana could you get back? Might make AP jungle TF really funny especially with things like
/
having unique spell vamp like abilits?
I mean, any "ability" does not count as a UNIQUE passive so I assume you'd probably get about double back since Ideally a blue card pretty much just refunds about 10/20/30 (etc per point in W) so you don't really get much back from blue cards unless you can throw out about 4 of them in lane, so with the passive you get from the item, It would be pretty strong since you get 8% mana back in one hit, which is fairly decent since TF's tend to use Blues/reds more when jungling for the damage. so all in all, it would stack pretty well (damage wise) and allow enough mana sustain. The problem comes with kiting in the jungle and how much items like hextech and will cost early game.
TF jungle usually ends up going AD just because of the E passive's reliability, he basically becomes vayne. But AP tf I assume would work if you go nashors and rylais with that jungle item and some CDR boots. Realistically though, he'd get shutdown by an adc if your team didn't build around you so you'd have to be cautious about that. Most teams ignore off-meta picks. Especially TF's.
I usually (if i ever) just go AD/AP Atkspeed jungle TF. But only with my pre-made 5s! Idk! try it out haha! I probably will soon, and just have some fun with it tbh!
Can't believe i spelled abilities wrong in my previous comment! XD
Anyways, I noted both
and
because they can could be utilized along side Runeglaive to essentially (i think) perma sustain yourself in the jungle. Runeglaive gets you mana: restores 8% of your missing mana via spellblade. And those 2 items let you restore health off your basic attacks (
could probably work off spellblade proc as well now) and by other means (both
&
). It was just something I had festering in the back of my mind because I like to theory craft random build ideas when I'm bored.
Taken from the Wikia --> Blue Card Mana Restored: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 mana (cost to cast Pick a card 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 mana) So yeah it doesn't net you much but alongside Runeglaive... Uh what mana problems?
I would not get Zhonya's even if it has some use, Graves gets tanky due to his True Grit passive so its not like its needed. He might as well either get more damage or sustain since no such thing as too much or get a GA for armor+mr and zil ult.
Random thoughts I have make for random stuff like that. XD
It was just for the thought of watching a melee assassin end up having this reaction (see below) for multiple reasons for trying to dive
.

I can already imagine the rage of Zed or a Katarina facerolling their keyboard and only noticing they missed everything lol.
You see my point? Wasted all those resources... For nothing.
I need a Red please
