Skipping Divisions

It's possible to skip 1 division if your MMR is significantly higher than where you're at. ie: you have gold mmr while in silver, you can go from s5 to s3 to s1, or s4 to s2 to s1.

You can only skip 1 division at a time, and you can't skip past 5 or 1. (ie: you can't go from b2 to s5, or from b1 to s4.)

Kinda hard. I've skipped 2 division so far. From S3 to S1 in Solo/Duo and S4 to S2 in Flex with a Gold V MMR. If you're winning a lot of games consistently, with a 60+% winrate and gaining 27 LP a win, you're almost guaranteed to skip a division as it's saying your MMR is significantly higher than your current one.

I can't be 100% sure as it can be slightly random as well, but I think as long as you're gaining 26-30 LP a win, you'll probably end up skipping divisions if you stay on that path. You can skip from Rank5 to Rank1 of any division but never skip an entry level. So say, S1 to G5 -- if you win promos to G5, even if your MMR is higher, you'll end up in G5 as you can't skip promos to a higher Division.

So for ex) lets say im in b5 and my mmr is in high bronze like b1 or b2. Would i have to go into promos and win those series to skip b4,b3?
