How has your experience with ranked been this year?

I have made a few QQ threads about not being able to climb/have fun in my time. However, this is just a question to whoever decided to click this, along with me sharing my feelings on the matter.

This is how it boils down for me: End season 4 Gold 5 --- Start out season 5 with a bang, went up to Gold 3 --- Summer ended, dropped down to gold 4. My ranked experience as a whole was alright at first, but it just got so crappy as of late and I am not having fun at all. I try to play a couple of games thinking that "This will be a good game". False. I have better teams that actually communicate with each other in normals. As a result, they are a LOT more fun. Hell, I don't have to help me ward for dragon control. In ranked, the communication just seems to end, making it a lot more dull than it was when I made the goal to get to gold in the first place.

I am fully aware that it may be a bit difficult to carry out of a certain elo by just supporting, but its the only role I enjoy.

What has it been like for you? Did you laugh? Did you cry? Did you stop playing altogether?
