My guess is 5-6 months from now. Maybe slightly less now that hes been out a little bit.
Lets all make guesses how long it'll take riot to balance him Hope they gut him :P

I don't see, I really just don't see it at all. Ohhh, he has a rewind mechanic, cute. It isn't like his burst is unavoidable or anything, just dodge, the Q and he can't really engage and his stun has such a large obvious window you have to cast it from fog of war for it to actually land on someone, I really just don't at all see it.
he has nerfs coming in next patch.
Eh, I hate this champion passionately because of how people can just carry a team with him. But despite that actually hatred, I feel like ekko only needs small nerfs to a couple things, like mana cost and dmg output scaling. The only thing that actually makes this champion OP is his wave clear. Seriously, how the fuck do you punish this guy in lane? More importantly is how the fuck does this champion that is super mobile, has a rewind, AOE stun/ Shield. AND waveclear. He is an assassin, he should have fuck all wave clear.(Yes zed does also have waveclear.....using all 3 abilities. Obviously not the same)
Nah, we already know there are more important nerfs to be made than balancing an overpowered assassin.
