Teemo's Poison or Blind

Now we have all heard of teemo. Teemo is a ranged marksman whi relies on stealth and damage over time. He also his a moving known as blinding dart. People have complained that teemo is the most annoying champian in league which I completely agree with, but if RIOT(I'm looking at you rito) were to balance him like remove his blind it would balance him out. Now I know what your gonna say "But Phrelix why on earth would you remove his blind?" First off his mushrooms already to enough damage and can destroy your health as a tanky so as an adc your screwed, his blind also is worse. Not only does it damage but it Blinds. This move alone in a teamfight can completely destroy the enemy team's main damage source, the ADC. The ADC relys on auto attacks to do a shart tone of damage to enemys, which blind completely counters. In other words teemo counters every ADC. If Riot were to remove teemo's blind and buff his q's damage a bit I think it could balance the game a little bit.

I don't think you realize that making autoattacks miss is the point of blinds. It's a unique form of CC that only Quinn and Teemo still have. Without his Q, Teemo would simply get mowed down by typical toplaner bruisers. He's one of the squishiest champions in League of Legends, has relatively low mobility (removable passive MS and no dashes/blinks), and has one of the lowest non-melee ranges in the game. The blind makes him stand out as a champion that can assassinate enemy champions that rely heavily on autoattacks. It only has 580 range, meaning that some ADCs actually outrange his blind entirely, and many have abilities that can outrange it. In terms of strategic value, in a large teamfight, Teemo has to get dangerously close the main action (frontliners) to have a chance at blinding enemy ADCs, and he's not exactly the best champion for surviving that attempt. He can blind enemy ADCs if he manages to flank the entire enemy team, but that requires risky use of his passive and/or an extremely oblivious enemy team. Even if he makes it that far, the enemy ADC will still have abilities to use on him, and Teemo relies on DPS, not burst, to kill his opponents. He's practically guaranteed to die if he makes it into Q range of the enemy ADC while other enemies are around, and he's far from guaranteed to kill that ADC.

Teemo's a frustrating champion to play against; I understand why you'd like to see something like this removed from him. However, he's not unbalanced (the last nerf to his mushrooms' damage hit him hard), and he needs that blind in order to do his main job: harassing autoattack-reliant toplaners. It isn't a particularly powerful factor in teamfights because it's almost never applied to the main source of autoattack damage on a team: the ADC, because Teemo can't get into range for applying it unless he has a deathwish and a fair amount of luck.

We can remove blind if we also remove all silences from the game.

Blind is the Auto Attack equivalent of a Silence. Silences stop mages from dealing damage, while Blind stops auto-attack based champs from dealing damage. Removing one without removing the other creates a complete imbalance in the system.

If teemo was OP he would be banned more, played more (probably, not always true), and have a higher winning rate. i think he is a very balanced champ that is made fun of or hated as a gag. most people call him 'satan' and hate him for reasons unknown. it was a meme that just stuck... im also kinda tired of it as well.

"Teemo counters me because of his blind" I hear this whenever there is a Teemo. In this case, Teemo counters everybody.

I don't think the most annoying thing about him is his blind. I think it's the slow on his mushrooms. The reality is that any top laner can completely wreck him, but the mushrooms make it really difficult to get to him. Meanwhile he can just harass you all day for free.
