Improving at league (help needed desperately)

So I have been watching videos, reading tips about how to improve at league. But no matter it always, always seems like I'm missing 95% of something.

People tell me to learn but offer no actual input. I am a master rank in StarCraft 2, so rts mechanics and multitasking isn't an issue for me. But no matter what I do in league I either feel like in doing something wrong or I'm getting yelled at.

Save some time, my match history is horrendous. I die, a lot. And part of that is I don't understand how I'm suppose to avoid some. I'll be in my jungle, no pings going on and out of nowhere I get ambushed by 3 people. And I get criticized and yelled at "why where you even there!!! Bla bla bla." I ward the places I've been tipped to. I don't jump towers. I don't try to 1v3 people. So, from basic lanes including too, mid, ADC/supp and jungle. Basic mechnaics, item purchasing, which summoner spells fit what role. I want to know what I'm doing wrong, because I want to improve and actually have fun with the game.

Much appreciated.

It's all about what works for you. Get comfortable on a handful of champions and practice, practice, practice. I love playing Diana mid, top, and jungle. That allows me to know her matchup to a TON of different champions, while at the same time being very flexible in champion select.

Try watching streamers on twitch too, specifically those who are playing roles or champions you want to get better with.

I don't really know if this is a problem for you, but you should be looking at the map A LOT. Most of the time you can tell where people are, or where people are not. If they are missing, assume they might ambush you. Ward in key bushes, put down pinks, and think of the map like a sudoku game.
