Leave Buster and False Positives (I think)
So just played a match where the loading screen took forever so I used task manager to end the process which brought me back to the client where I was told the game crashed and it asked me to reconnect. I attempted to reconnect and after another few minutes of not getting into the game I forcibly ended the process again and relaunched the entire client. I attempt to reconnect again and after a minute I finally get back into the game. Its around 10 minutes in and the other team is getting stomped and I catch back up pretty quickly thanks to my team being ahead already without me. The other team surrenders at 20 and in the post game I am confronted with the new leave buster thing warning about afking/leaving and to promise not to do it in the future. I agreed to it but I don't understand why it came up for me in that instance. I wasn't purposefully afk and was present for around half the match. I tried very hard and multiple times to get into the game; it isn't my fault that league wasn't cooperating with me on it at the time (and I wasn't the only one apparently having connection issues in that match; the other team's jungler never connected for the entire game apparently and occasionally our jungler would dc). Leavers and afkers ruin games to be true, and we all occasionally rage quit at a game now and again so its could to have that reminder/slap on the wrist to remind us not to do it but I'm kinda concerned that this new system might be a bit too overzealous. Anyone else having similar issues? If you're reading this Riot are you taking this type of stuff into consideration? Especially now that its gone to live and we can have a more accurate sense of this kinda thing?
