Reading to much. Riot stated that Ao Shin wouldn't be coming out for a very long time.
All I get from this is that he is the Celestial version Shen, The Eye of Twilight.

I have heard a lot about him being released this year, 2015, but whenever that has been said it has overall had little to no creditability. I do believe that Riot may have said something about at least maybe giving some more insight on him in 2015. If we see little teasers to a new champion, you can assume its not Ao Shin, because Riot wanted to make a big deal out of Ao Shin. As they said, they wanted to do a dragon champion for a long time, but not just any dragon. They want Ao Shin to be great.
We don't even know if his name will still be Ao Shin. Azir was Seth, The Sand Mage, and Vel'Koz was Professor Eye-beam. Elise I believe was Priscilla. Expect something big to be happening around the release of Ao Shin.
