Either people level up a smurf for:
- Want to level again(rare as balls)
- To play matches with their friends who are much lower than them to avoid bad matchmaking / Level up with their friends
- They want a different name / fresh start
- To make an Aram only account
- To have less stressful matches if their elo / mmr is too high (Being Plat for instance and playing against people your skill level)
- Stomp low level games for the fun of it
- If they did co-op vs ai games their whole life, and are terrible at PvP they may make a new account to actually PvP on without dragging people down of their original accounts level
- Get another crack at level 30 promotional series that determines what rank they are placed in
I am confused when you say ''practice in a competitive environment without having to feel extremely burdened''. Do you mean play ranked for practice? While I am not saying that someone cant learn from ranked or get some practice in, that is what normals are typically for, and Aram and Co-op vs AI aren't necessarily the best place to practice.
