Lane Calling in Champion Selection

I've been playing blind pick a lot lately and are getting somewhat aggravated with the way that champion selection goes when put into blind. Even if a lane has been called there are still those who insist on doing that role completely against all other requests. I came up with the idea of having something of a lane calling UI that would show what positions have been called and who called them. Something along the lines of being able to hit a single button and have that lane designated to you. Then once a lane has been called its icon shows up next to the player that called it and its icon on the selection menu be grayed out.

 Many people tend to miss the chat when annother calls that lane so I feel like this would improve the lane calling procedure a bit more to reduce team fighting before the game even starts. Any thoughts?

Except lane calling and the lane meta isn't a rule, its a shifting player made guideline, and it didn't matter if everyone trolls mid and loses the game, as long as they tried there's nothing that can be done.

I say your idea is fine if what's clicked isn't enforced, just courteously let's you know who clicked what lane first. That's going to breed the misconception that it is enforced though, which we don't want.

Riot officially supports pick order. Some might say that there is no pick order in blind pick but they are wrong, pick order is top of the list to the bottom of the list and just because you all pick at the same time doesn't change that, just like in draft when two people pick at the same time pick order is still applied.

people would still just pick adc and go mid with leblanc to appease the system...
