Team up and pool party

I have a tad bit of a doubt on this team up week thing, and was hoping i could get it cleared by the great community here.

So I was checking the team up page, seeing what rewards I could get. I saw that if I connected to Facebook, I would get a mystery champ. So I did. But then when I was reading the FAQ in the page, i read this:

When do I have to connect to Facebook by?

By the end of Pool Party. You must connect from By the end of Pool Party. You must connect from 11:59PM PDT on 6/28 through 11:59PM PDT on 6/29 so we can unlock your Mystery Champ.

So will I still get a mystery champ or was I supposed to connect only from 11:59PM PDT on 6/28 through 11:59PM PDT on 6/29 so we can unlock your Mystery Champ??

SOrry if it seems stupid, but Im a little worried I wont get it

They are going to check if your facebook is connected within that timeframe. (Regardless of whether it was connected before or during it)
