League is a game that's been around since 2009 and becoming more and more popular each day. I myself have been playing since the start of season 1, and while i'm really curious as to how long will the game last, i'm also a bit afraid to ask that question.. Thought about losing this awesome game at some point makes me sad.
So how long do YOU think the game will last?

see it ending anytime soon...though...i do not want to

I mean who can honestly say. There is so many factors that could help/harm the game. But it's still going strong at least from what I've seen when it comes to how easy it is for me to get into a game. Streamers and content creators who make league games daily! I highly doubt it would go away any time soon. League is ever changing and even if the comes to a point where most leave there will still be people who play the game. Looks at older games like Runescape, WoW, Maplestory. Older games that some may say is past its prime and much better games are out. Yet they are still active with just as much player and still getting updated!
How long has WoW been out? 10 years?
I'd say give League at least that many more. Riot themselves have said they'll eventually hit a point where "too many champions" becomes a thing, but with so many possibilities, variables, class combinations, fantasies, and character archetypes to cover, it won't be for a loooooong time. And then there are reworks, relaunches, skins, game modes....
League has a long future ahead of it. Enough that people shouldn't have to worry about it disappearing anytime soon.
I think it'll be a Pacman sorta deal. It will become less popular but people will play it for the nostalgia 10 years later.
As long as 2d gaming last, riot can make league work. Now if virtual becomes a thing , then league has a problem.
