Reasons I refuse to play League until the weekend is over
I understand a lot of people are upset about Urf not coming back, I am one of those people but I know how to live with a new and exciting game mode, but... That is NOT what we got.
The very reason I am angry with this "Draven" head thing is mostly it disturbed me when it first happened. It was 2 am and I was playing my last game of League for the night and there was massive queue issues and it was hard to get into a game until we did. When we did, we picked out champions, talked about what was going to happen, and then waited for the game to load. As soon as we loaded in, I opened my shop before characters spawned and bought all my items. It wasn't until I closed the shop that I was horrified at what I saw. EVERYONE had cheap glitchy Draven heads and more so it was disturbing than entertaining.
Look I understand that this was for "Funny haha April Fool's LoL players!" but in reality this isn't funny at all. I am one of those people who don't even acknowledge that this day is even a HOLIDAY or something to be "celebrated". In all honesty I am kind of mad.
The idea was great, yes, but the problem stands is we have no choice of whether or not we want to participate in it unless we don't play the game.
The thing I feel most people are upset about is not just Urf being offered as a game mode, I think most people are frustrated with the fact that they HAVE to see this. Urf was a choice to play. If you wanted to play it you could, if you didn't you didn't have to even bother with it. But this Draven head thing? Yeah, that is being FORCED onto us. We have no choice whether we want it or not, no matter what game mode you play, you get this stupid head over your character and the minions look atrocious.
It's a joke, I get it, but not everyone wants to "play" with this sorry excuse for a "joke".
Urf gave us the opportunity to choose if we wanted to play it or not. This does not.
That is why I am not playing until either this "event" is over or Riot takes it's head out of it's own ego and let's us have a little button that turns it off.
**Edit: I find it cute that there are people literally going around the forums downvoting anyone who seems to dislike the event. Are we twelve?
