Surrender at 8

Why must I wait until 20 minutes has passed before I can surrender a game? If the forfeit is decided as a group, then why can it not be decided earlier rather than later? Is the real problem with reducing surrender time option to 8 minutes from 20 simply to deter boosting? I don't see that being very likely. Surrender at 8 please.

While we're talking about the amount of my life spent pulling my hair out, can Riot consider penalizing queue dodgers with a 0 second or 30 second penalty on the first offense each day? And increment in like 4 minutes thereafter? As it is currently, a first-time offense like "mouse not working during ban phase" results in a 6 minute penalty where the player literally loses 6 minutes of his life. A second offense the player loses a half hour of his life or has to change his plans for the day. Rito plz.

Hello Because making the surrender vote possible @8 will just encourage players giving up. It's already pretty bad that if the game goes south early people tend to give up and just ask " ff at 20", threatening to afk or so. Doesn't matter that the surrender must be accepted by the whole team, those who want to surrender will try to force others to ff. Bottom line this will make the game even less enjoyable overall.

As for the penalty, you are responsible for your hardware and software, not Riot. The penalty is good because this way you can't just abuse the system if you don't like something. If anything, reducing the penalty will only "waste" more of your time as everyone would be able to just dodge when they want, knowing there's no penalty, or close to no penalty. You are not "losing 6 or 30 mins of your life", it's your decision to dodge that game and you can always find something to do in that time, it's not like you have to sit and watch the time pass.
