About hextech crafting.
Some players like me, who have been playing league since season 1, have every champions in the game. That's not all, we also have all the runes like 500k IP stacked up for the next upcoming changes, some name changes, summoner icons or whatever. All that time stacking these kind of feels like a waste to me. I feel like I'm penalized for having supported the game since the beginning. (Also, I'm still waiting for a Victorious Jarvan IV Rework ! :p) (Don't get me wrong, I don't believe that champion shards are useless. It really came in handy seeing that you guys halved the xp required to reach lvl 30, and it's good for the new players to actually have some champs once they get there. And that's a great way to get them.)
When it comes to crafting, I have a really bad RNG. Don't get me wrong, I love the concept. Still, I have 24 champion shards right now. And it's still growing. The problem is: It's sitting in my inventory right there, stacking, stacking, stacking and stacking. So I thought that there is some improvement to be made for players like me, to make those shards somewhat useful. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one thinking about this.
Here's the ideas I have: -Trade 3-5 Champion shards for a skin shard, and 1 Skin shard for 2-3 champions. (Not an even number, so people aren't spamming until they get all they want, obviously. That would be stupid.)
-Trade 5-10 Champion shards for a gemstone? (Looking forward to see more hextech unique skins, though I don't have hextech annie... YET)
-Make some exclusive skin you can get only by trading champion shards?
- Trading 3x the same shard for a random permanent skin of that champion. (Ex: You trade 3x Ahri Champion shards and randomly get: Dynasty Ahri/Midnight Ahri/Foxfire Ahri/Popstar Ahri/Challenger Ahri/Academy Ahri)
What do you guys think about these ideas? Got any more suggestions?
