Here's a list of typical players that are ranked Bronze 4/5

  1. Rage quitters
  2. People who flame their team
  3. People without any mechanical knowledge of the game
  4. People lacking reliable internet
  5. People who blame their team for every error in the game instead of focusing on what they can improve on
  6. People without an understanding of rune and mastery pages.
  7. Fresh level 30s who just jumped immediately into ranked
  8. "XXXXX or Troll/Feed" people.

2 and 5 are in fact different.

The two big things I learned that I think got me out of B5 are proper itemization and abusing my lane opponent. In B5, no one knows what the items do to be able to counterbuild, nor do they know how to harass their opponents. They just play the lane like "If I hit you, you'll eventually die", regardless of anything else (like how much damage they'll take in return).

The majority of people in Bronze are so bad at the game, it's almost unbelievable. Add to this the trolls who intentionally feed and intentionally lose games, the 8 year olds that are clueless, and people who rage if your team gives up first blood. This causes the few good players who get stuck there to stay stuck there most of the time, since your team isn't really a team at all.

This seems illogical since you would think a good player would easily climb out. However, if the other team has just 1 more good player on it than yours, they will get so fed you probably can't overcome them. That is why duo q is the way to go. If you don't have someone to duo with, you are pretty much screwed and will stay stuck there.

Even if you manage to get out of B5, B4 is no different at all and you probably drop down to 5 again. That''s why people get stuck there.

From what I understand, the hardest thing about getting out of Bronze V is that you have to play significantly above the level of your average teammate in order to start winning. Your teammates have a lot more opportunity to drag you down, so you have to excel into ~low Silver territory to really pull ahead.

Do people at that rank deserve to be there? Probably, but it also takes a lot more comparative effort to get out of than say moving from Plat III to Plat II.

Because they cannot carry themselves and prefer to tall shit about their team instead of improving themselves

Honestly I suck at lol, I'm silver 4 and getting out of bronze was a breeze (not even because of lucky teams I carried most games)
