A few questions about ranked... (New to it this season..)

So I got into ranked this season.. Im Bronze 3, and a friend said I have Bronze 1 MMR.

I know people say you can go to places to see your MMR, but I go there and im not sure how to actually see or read it?

I get a rising fear out of playing ranked, and that's... what if my MMR starts to drop.... and i mean I have some tough games... like I hear people saying they lose 26 to only gain 12... to me that's scary..

is that the so called "elo hell" ? being stuck in the bottom of B5 losing 26 LP and only winning 12... ? O_O

I guess my last question would be.. I guess I already sorta know the answer but..

End of season and pre-season... Okay so.. people who were plat+ by the end of their provisionals they got like gold... but I have a friend when he did his first provisionals he ended silver 3, but then he started spamming ranked and it dragged him to bronze 5... and this time he did his provisionals.. he said he went 6/4 wins losses I think? and still ended in bronze 5....

So... end season and pre season.... it keeps people who were high up high and those that made mistakes still get punished? Do we keep the same MMR even into the new season? If so... whats even the point of rank resets?

..........

Even now that I think about it.. besides wanting to go pro.. wants the point in even doing ranked... Sure I'd like to get a little bit better.. Id be happy with the skill of a high silver low gold... but.. other then being able to gloat about how your better then other people.. .-.

the point of ranked is more challenging games and wanting to improve. most people dropped, but not everyone. it's not 100% from last seasons mmr, it's both last season and placements for this season.

if you are bronze 5, you will play with bronze 5, if you are gold 5, you will end up playing with gold 5. if you end up in bronze 5, you should be able to climb out unless you belong there.
