Any of you guys having random chat restriciton issues?

Hi guys, So i recently posted this in the 'report a bug' section but it was remove...which i was really mad about but okay....even though this HAS to be a bug that I'm not the only one dealing with.

So my original account was banned 2 weeks ago for verbal harassment. What had happened was, I was being flamed and I tried to defend myself by flaming back, it resulted in MY account beng banned....SOOO...

I made a new account (a smurf if you will) and vowed that I would be more positive then ever. No name calling, no taunting, no questioning at all. Instead I promised myself that I would give advice and analyze the game rather then freak out if a person made a mistake, i make mistakes too so, its not fair for me to get all worked up over their mistake.

I have enforced this positive change extremely well...as i really HATE being banned (i play league 24/7....) and don't want it to happen again.

WELL...about 6 levels in to my new account, i received a chat restriction for 12 games...

This upset me because as I said, I had been super positive and really did not feel as though i deserved the chat ban...However I took the consequence like I had deserved it and moved on.

I just finished that 12 game chat restriction last night. I played 2 games with my boyfriend earlier today before he went to work, and when I went to log back on a couple hours later, I had a 13 game chat restriction waiting for me.

UHH...WHAT?!

THERE IS NO WAY I DESERVED THIS SECOND BAN. NO WAY. I played 2 games and in the first, we didn't do well and lost im a landslide (however it was still a good game, my team wasnt negative about it at all) The second game we won, and I even received an honorable opponent honor...I also didn't use the chat in the second game (much) because my boyfriend and i were duo bot lane together, and he was sitting next to me so no need for chat....

So either someone at riot is out to get me. Or they're having issues distributing chat restrictions.

Because I do not deserve this...and I'm very confused as to why I have a chat ban 2 games after i just finished a chat ban.., Both games that I was really really nice in...

Oh and also...all the the bann/chat restrictions im talking about have happened to me in the past 2 weeks....

I HAVENT gotten a single restriction or ban in my entire 2 years of player, and all of a sudden on both of my account i'm recieving bans out the ass like I'm some toxic troll using my account to ruin the world. lol.

No. really. I love league and this is bull...:(

someone give me an idea as to what is going on.

I might type 'too much' for someone and they might consider it spam? but i would type something like,

Sivir, I watched that last engage down bot...You should target draven instead of blitz, that way you'll take out the dmg dealer first then get the easy one...

and i might give her a couple more tips like that throughout the game....do some pepole report over this?

fyi I never actually spam, I might type long messages or 5 messages after one another but...I dont purposly fill up the chat with my name just because...

I just don't know why people are (reporting?) me.... I'm being positive as ever but im still receiving chat restrictions...sigh.

Some people are overly sensitive and view constructive criticism as insults and toxicity ;-; Make your feedback as nice as possible and highlight that you are only trying to help

Such as:

"Good try Sivir! you almost had them, just target draven instead of blitz next time, since hes the main damage dealer, you'll wreck em faster that way ^-^"

Yeah...I make it as nice as possible...i cant do that now though...because i have a freaking chat bAN THAT ONLY ALLOws me to chat 5 sentenses a game...sorry caps..lol.

so now my advice is short and sweet...which could be seen as critisism but...who would report forthat? i mean, really? im being so nice. if they disagree with my idea then they can say so and ill stop trying to help them but...to report me for that? im overly sensitive. im a girl and a league player...im very sensitive to toxicity (again...so why would i be toxic...ugh rito is so dumb) so i get where you're coming from but...yeah...now i cant type out long, nice sentences becuase of the stupid chat restriction that i totally don't deserve.

I play league 24/7...i work 4 hours on monday and wednesday...that is my entire life....for the past 2 years...lol...and im just now receiving a chat ban....is eriously am not toxic and do not deserve tis and its so frustrating that riot wont even fix it.

Yeah, riot was NO help at all... I sent a support ticket and I got that they couldn't show me my chat log. they couldnt show me why i was reported. all they said was that they couldn't lift the ban and that was that. they did nothing about it. GUYS...I'm callin for a petition to change the tribunal system.... No more toxic meanies using the report button to 'get back' at innocent players who are just trying to have a good time like you and I...

I dont understand why riot hasn't changed it yet.

I just e-mailed them back a very long e-mail about how they need to change their tribunal....Because that is what has to be happening to me.

I dont deserve to be chat banned that the fact that riot had the nerve to tell me and i quote (you're still displaying higher then average levels of toxicity)....OH REALLY! because i just had a yi call me a noob, an idiot, and a troll...BUT I HAVE HIGHER THEN AVERAGE LEVELS OF TOXICITY. LOL.

PUH-LEASE... I'm so over riot and their lack of caring for this community.

They have money and the time to put on this huge championship for everyone to watch but they can't do shit about their horrible toxic community...sigh...

All they do is rub it in to player's faces: "LOL. You're toxic. We don't care. You suck"

Also, they are able to provide chat logs, the 1st post is a lie >.<

However, the tribunal doesn't exist currently. After you stated this:

I'm assuming you retaliated to Yi, which got you chat restricted. Next time, don't fight fire with fire, if someone is being toxic, then don't be toxic back. It's unfair, but sadly that's the way life is :c

Thank you for understanding the situation and yes...you're right...I did retaliate at that yi and that is what started this whole chain. that game got my original lvl 30 (this account) banned for 2 weeks (2 more days...EEEE I CANT WAIT FOR IT TO BE OVERRR...i get my runes and all my champs...andd andd andd ugh...cant wiat)

After that incident I literally have been ON MY BEST BEHAVIOR.

and im not naturally negative either so....that is seriously seriously good...

the last game i played, in the beginning lobby, irelia called top but i called it first.

I immediately said 'irelia you go top, ik i got it but you already have your champ and summ spells, ill support' I am like, the nicest player ever (unless you get mean to me, i used to get mean back but my ban has taught me that that gets me no where, now i just try to say (as politely as i can) hey, thats toxic, dont do that. that same game with irelia...we had a katarina....

she went 1/3 to fizz... then our mf commented over chat (which was the ONE trigger...this wasn't even toxic...but it was enough to make kat toxic)

"kata 1/3"

katarina replied with "oh really? ill make it 1/4 then" and died to fizz... She then came down to bot lane and said 'I'm gonna make it 1/5 :DD' and ran in circles while the enemy miss fortune whittled her down...

yet she probably reported our mf for the non-toxic comment that made her toxic, AND because mf actually went afk due to katarina's feeding...she didn't wanna play the game..

I didn't report mf, but i did report katarina. In my opinion, the mf didnt do anything wrong (not enough to deserve a report anyway) Our katarina was just toxic as all hell... Poppy even threatened ehr with a report and she said 'this is my smurf, like i give a shit'... People like that don't need to be playing league...

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PLAY KAT...the most op champ in the game....BUT BE A TOXIC FEEDER TOO. LOL.

my boyfriend and I are going to create a website where we copy and paste our chat logs. (no usernames will be included as this is naming and shaming and is wrong) BUT...we're going to do this so that maybe a rito employee comes across it and finds 500 games CHOK FULL of toxicity and negativity...and maybe then theyll realize that their system is flawed and needs a rework....

Do you guys approve of this idea? this site would only be a collection flamers flaming nice people. it would show how bad our community is on a daily basis...others would be open to post too as long as they followed the no name no shame rule.

I actually have a post on here with the chat log that i had with this yi...I wasn't even being toxic back to him....per se.

I have been worse...but...I was just disagreeing with him and trying to 'set him strraight' as matter of fa ctly as i could. i understand never to do this anymore, justwarn, ignore and report. but...my point is...

when i retaliated, i wasnt even being a toxic troll like he was, I was just trying to be like, uhh no, i came here to play and have fun and youre flaming me. kind of deal...i wasnt REALLY flaming him back...the post is still on here but its from awhile ago. But i deserved it because i went back and forth with him all game...and that was just dumb so...i dont do that anymore. but riot is acting like i do lol.

Send a support ticket. They'll manually look at your chat logs. Something you have said has triggered this restriction. The only thing you can do is send a support ticket, and they will decide if it's justified or not.

it seriously couldn't have been a key word that i said, i literally didn't type anything into the chat box the last game...like...i was sitting next to my boyfriend who iw as communicating with...I didnt need chat...its not justified but obviously someone at riot isnt doing what theyre being paid to do.
