Toxicness

Does anyone else feel that the amount of toxic people on League is slowly increasing? I know Riot said they we're going to make the punishment for toxic players more severe, but I feel like the amount of rude and ignorant people are increasing daily. Example: Duo bot with a buddy and we're both 0/1(not even doing bad) and people on our team insist that it's gg at 13 minutes in and I calmly try to tell them "It's okay, we can still win" and someone on my team tells me to "shut the hell up and go die in a hole." Like really? Just immature.

I heard an interview with Riot Lyte the other day, and he says that studies show that about 5% of LoL gamers are purely toxic (go into a game with the intent to troll or be toxic) and the rest is a ripple effect from these people. Ex. One toxic person goes into a game and flames. This causes 3 of the other 9 people to go in tilt and it carries over to their next game. If each of those 3 get to 3 more, that's 12 people on tilt from that one person.

idk if the amount of toxic people is increasing but i have noticed more people seem unable to deal well with toxic people. When i first started if there was a toxic person everyone just ignored them now if someone one says the slightest bit of flame the other person either feeds, afks, or cant stop typing long enough to play which all of those are toxic behaviors...so i guess so

Maybe the toxicity brings people to get more sensitive. So watever you are saying people get on tilt. When it's real toxicity, it's even worse.

I don't know. I feel sometime some words could have been taken in a more casual way that I have seen.

I'm not gonna lie and say I don't ever get mad at league because I do, but when I do I don't continue to tell people to go die in a hole because of how bad they are. The point is, is that I try so hard to stay positive in games, but sometimes it's near impossible when you have people on your team who are constantly harassing you. It just leads to an argument amongst the whole team and another loss on my record.

ya, no tribunal.... publicly apologizing and unbanning people who admit to exploiting, stats and figures that do not fit with an average players actual toxic experiences, public pro's also being toxic and not being held up to higher standards, lack of moderation on boards, ect, ect, ect....

that comment you said they made.... did you report them? they threatened your life, or at least were abusive... what else matters? you dont have to take it personal but no player in that game should allow that behavior to continue, every player should report that one for being abusive....

{quoted} tells me to "shut the hell up and go die in a hole."

not only is that rude, hurtful, harassment.... its against the rules.... they should be reported and ban... because when this behavior is allowed to continue, it does continue

people test boundaries all the time, and when those boundary's are crossed punishment needs to be met out or a clear signal is given that it is acceptable, and allowed to continue

There's just as much toxicity in the game as I remember from 5 years ago.
