Can riot please try create more support champions as there are not enough supports currently. I'm sure if you post up a forum topic on new support champions you would get a great replay and it would encourage people to play support more as there is a greater selection to choose from.
Actually, the biggest problem is that people only try to support from looking at pros, which only plays limited support since there are fewer easy supports at high level.
However, there are actually quite a lot of hampions that does really well : Soraka, Taric, Leona, Lulu, Zyra, Sona, Nami, Janna, Thresh, Blitzcrank.
And yet another lot, who while not being their main role can do well for a a poke/kill lane : Annie, Jarvan IV, Morgana, Lux, Zilean, Nunu(although less than before).
Heck, we've even seen Mordekaiser, Veigar, Poppy supports at high level
you forgot Gangplank ;p
I would love to see a new support, but we got thresh and nami added to our pool followed by two adc's two junglers and a mid champ. Everyone can mid now, just about anyone can top and play support. I'm glad the next champ is an adc, because Lucian and Quinn are a total flops, in my opinion.
That being said, I would love to see a new champion who will be a fun champion that can be mained as much as sona and taric got mained.
