It's kinda dumb that there is no way to buy Orange or blue essence, it's just purely out of luck. It sucks having so many champs or skins in the crafting system, but having no way to redeem them. It would be nice to be able to buy the essence with IP or RP or even better to have them guaranteed out of every case. But then again, this is just my opinion.

there is now way or orange will ever go for ip. That is just giving away skins at that point
They give you skins and champs for free and now you are asking "WHY CAN'T WE PAY FOR IT?"
You can essentially buy blue essence with IP or RP. There's an option in the store to buy a random champion shard, which you can then disenchant for blue essence. With orange essence though, I wouldn't expect them to do something similar, or at least not be able to buy it with IP considering that it's used for skins. Besides, you can always buy extra chests and disenchant any skins you don't want.
